Police Action - Keeping Your Vehicle Roadworthy |
||
|
To keep your vehicle roadworthy and legal on UK roads, make sure it has valid insurance, vehicle tax and an MOT where required. However, an MOT alone does not mean a vehicle is safe to drive. You are responsible for ensuring it is roadworthy every time you use it.
Before setting off, check that: A quick walk around check before each journey can help spot problems early.
Keep you safe and prevent offences, fines, penalty points or prosecution for driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
We will continue to take firm action on vehicles not fully road legal.
